Review guidelines
Homeowner reviews help Florida homeowners pick a roofer. These rules keep them honest.
Who can write a review
- Homeowners who hired the company or got an estimate from it.
- One review per person per company.
- No reviews from the company’s owners, employees, family members or competitors.
- No reviews that were paid for or offered anything in return, including discounts, gift cards or entries in a drawing.
How we check reviews
- Every reviewer confirms their email address before a review is considered.
- We read every review before it is published, usually within two business days.
- We publish positive and negative reviews alike. We do not remove or hold back a genuine review because it is critical of a company, and companies cannot pay to remove or hide reviews.
What we remove
- Reviews we have reason to believe are fake, duplicated, or written by someone tied to the company or a competitor.
- Reviews that are about a different company or have nothing to do with the work.
- Threats, hate speech, profanity aimed at people, or personal details like phone numbers and home addresses.
- Spam, advertising or links.
Our relationships with companies
Some roofing companies receive homeowner referrals through Florida Roof Price, and those are listed on our Partners page. Partner listings take reviews under the same rules as every other company. Partner status never affects which reviews we publish.
For companies
To respond to a review or report one that breaks these rules, email hello@floridaroofprice.com from an address that matches your company, with the review and the reason.
